Laurenellen McCann is a digital Jane of All Trades. Based in Washington, DC, L(e) specializes in creative strategy, online engagement, campaign and event organizing, editorial review, multimedia content production, and connecting the dots. She believes that knowledge is power and that we should use the online world to get offline (and to make our online experiences richer). When not pulling her Idealism towards Realistic ends, Laurenellen enjoys science fact and science fiction, nerding out over the information commons, and fiddling with the NYT crossword puzzle app.
L(e) is currently an Organizer at the Sunlight Foundation. You can find out more about that
here. She's also working with the city of DC on an online social archive of public art and serves as a director for the DC Advocates for the Arts.
Man, this webpage is hella outdated. Well, not the information part; the code and design part. Working on that. In the meanwhile, check out
Girl Eat Machine, a blog where I, er, her - no, um...she...swaps photos and thoughts on art, tech, and authorship.
